tree of life- Riaz

This vibrant looking carpet has been designed by Riaz. The primary motif in this piece is the “tree of life” which means varying things in
different cultures, such as “The bridge between paradise, world of men and the world above” in Persia and “The link between human and heavenly
worlds” in Europe and other parts of Asia. The tree fills the whole carpet with elaborate leaves and flowers on the branches and features birds such
as The peacock signifying immortality and The Paradise bird found only in the garden of paradise.
